JCI Wellington - Speed Networking

Our first face to face event of the year - hosted at The Wellington Club. This event will be fun and energetic! 

 "Speed Networking (Business Speed Dating) is an time-saving and effective way of making new contacts. The purpose of speed networking is to encourage participants to make as many connections as possible"

How it works: 

• You arrive at the Club, you are given a complementary drink voucher and a random seat number. 
• You then find the seat with the allocated number. 
• Once everyone in the room is seated, we'll start with an introduction and some fun tips and guidelines on how to make conversation with the person seated opposite you (cheat sheet of questions will be provided if you get stuck).
• You then have 3 minutes to have a conversation with that person before a bell rings, and you move to the next seat and the 3 min counter begins again. 
• When you get back to the first person you spoke to, around the table, then your free to network with everyone.
